Acquiring Financial Systems Access

There are a number of Columbia financial systems that you may need access to in your role.

To learn more about these systems, as well as how to apply for access, review these short, interactive guides.

Detailed Guidance

Handbooks are available which are designed to assist faculty and staff who need to request and/or approve system access to any of the Columbia University financial systems.

Once you know which systems you would like to request access to, you will need to complete the Financial Systems Security Application (FSSA), or, for reporting and inquiry only access to ARC, you can complete the Financial Inquiry Application (FIA).

Required Trainings

Roles within Columbia’s financial systems determine the information you can see and how you will use the system to accomplish your work.

Required Trainings by Central Role

Central Roles or Special Roles are central administrative in nature, such as within the Finance Division or at a senior level within other groups around the University, as opposed to Departmental Roles. Visit Required Trainings by Central Role for more information.
